Media Bias? Oh Yeah!!!

January 4, 2008

Just one example of thousands.

How did Harry Smith describe Barack Obama this morning after the Iowa primary — as the “big winner”. So, how did he describe Mike Huckabee, the Republican winner? In not so gracious terms. Rather that saying this was an important win for Huckabee — who I don’t like by the way — he held up a copy of today’s Boston Herald with its one-word front page “Shazam!” above a photo of Mike Huckabee.

Comparing the Republican winner to Gomer Pyle while referring to the Democratic winner as the “big winner”. A little bias? Perhaps. (FYI — Obama had 38% of the vote while Huckabee had 34%, but their margin-of-victory was nearly identical.)
