Ashland Parade

We went to the Ashland parade last evening to celebrate the high school homecoming. It was typical little town stuff. A float for each grade level & a few clubs and a parade of the local sports celebrities, including Spencer high atop a fire truck with some other players.

Sorry, but I left my phone/camera in the truck and didn’t get any pictures. However, I do have this nifty picture of our trees after they were TP’d by the cheerleaders.

Now I get to go clean it up. Yeah!

Afterwards, we enjoyed a great meal of bacon-wrapped pork loin. Bennett fixed it for us. It was something they made on the Scout campout last weekend. You wrap up the loin with bacon, put it into a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes inside a cast-iron skillet with lid. Very tasty.

More recipes coming soon!
