Chinatown

Today was the last day of our mini Spring Break vacation. We spent the entire morning in Chinatown. We browse the shops and had a FANTASTIC meal. It was served Dim Sum style, which basically means you order ala carte. My favorite was the Chicken Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf. Very yummy. I found several recipes for it on the Internet. Click here to see one of them.

After that, it was a 7-hour drive home. I’m tired, but glad to be home and sleeping in my own bed. No post tomorrow…I’m going to take the day off.

FYI — the group you see walking down the street below was protesting the brutality of the Chinese Communist Party and the complacency of governments and corporations who indirectly support their dictatorship. At least that’s what the flyer said (only stronger). You can read more by clicking here.
